Often the Christian life is described in terms of a race. I have always been inspired by this theme, especially when things get difficult. Christians need to be constantly called to greater endurance, by looking to Jesus Christ who endured the cross for us. This website is a record of my own race toward eternal life. I pray that you will be spurred on to start running, or to run harder as a result of reading something on this website. So feel free to run along side me for a time, and encourage me as I hope to encourage you.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings to closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.” Hebrew 12:1-3
